Default What do you guys think of this mobile sharing platform?

    Hello all,

I recently stumbled across this online service that allows you to share content to mobile phones. The service is called moShare and can be accessed at the following site: moShare - Share everything to mobile

I have yet to use it and am curious what T-I members think of it?

They have extensions for both chrome and firefox, available here:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/moshare/

    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...ipnaickpkgllkk

They seem to have very few users atm.

Just curious what the brains of T-I think of it.

    Thank you.

Sounds cool, but can't all of that pretty much be done through mobile IM anyway?

That's what I was thinking. But I don't know of any popular mobile im clients that allow you to send files. Google talk and facebook messenger do not allow the transfer of files to mobile devices I am almost certain. Doesn't mean you can't send a download link through these clients. Also, a I am pretty sure moshare works on any phone, you do not need a smart phone. As long as you can recieve MMS you are all good.

Seems like a cool service, but the question is, would you ever use it?

Oh, so you could easily send pictures from PC to non-smartphones? That's actually a pretty good feature, I just don't know if it will catch on with so many people buying smartphones exclusively now. I could see it potentially having a big market in countries that don't have the network capabilities to support smartphones yet.
