    Top three are easy.

    1. A Christmas Story
    2. 12 Angry Men
    3. All Quiet on the Western Front

After that it gets hard. Citizen Kane should be up there, as well as Goodfellas and Jaws. Is Airplane! better than the first Diehard? How about Raiders of the Lost Ark? Hard to say, they're all so different.

    1. Titanic - yes, I know, this choice sounds boring but in my defense I'll say that I'm interested in the history of the real ship.
    2. The Notebook - great love-story.
    3. Back to the Future - funny, smart, interesting. Favourite movie in my childhood and now too.
    4. Lord of the Rings
    5. The Fountain - great story about life and death.

    1. Drive- This is slowly becoming my favorite movie of all time. I saw it last year, but I still think about some of the scenes in it. Especially when I'm driving at night. The soundtrack was awesome. This is a great movie.

    2. Unforgiven- A great western. I love this movie. This has always been one of my favorites.

    3. I Am Legend- It has Will Smith and Zombies. Nuff said

    4. The Hurt Locker- This was definitely better than Avatar. I'm glad it beat out Avatar for Best Picture.

    5. The Foutainhead (1949)- Old black and white movie. But great story written by Ayn Rand.

These are not in any particular order, except for Fight Club which is my all time favorite.

Fight Club - I tend to like movies that have a "catch". Fight Club is brilliant, when I saw it for the first time it literally left my mouth hanging open. I just had to watch it again the next day, on the second the time the whole movie gains a whole new perspective.

Scarface - This probably does not classify as an action film, but that scene at Tony's house is one of the most intense bits of movie I've seen. The whole film has this realistic grit which I really like. None of the characters are movie-perfect, and every one of them has their own motives in the game of power and money. Also Al Pacino is brilliant as Tony.

The Usual Suspects - My other choice would have been Shutter Island, but in the end Kevin Spacey tipped the scales over to this one. This movie is so damn clever.

The Prestige - Wolverine meets Batman, though both are mere mortals this time. The writing is great, and I find the circus/illusionist theme very interesting. It's an overall win. And it has Bowie as Nikolai Tesla!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Oh come on now. Who doesn't like this one?
