Thread: How Often Do You turn off Your Computer ?

LOL. I don't reboot my Mac so often either.

I really want to give him a rest every week but with all of this seed times and Points there is no rest for him

Whta's better for computer components (hardware) to reboot often or sometimes ?

whenever the power goes out when i am sleeping.. So maybe once every couple months

No, It can run very smoothly without being turned off. Just need to kill explorer.exe to refresh.

A computer does NOT use the full use of a power supply all the time, only under heavy load, a computer turned on without any games running or stressful applications uses very little power.

It puts more strain on a computer to constantly restart it, sadly this is why my old graphics card fried.

I rarely shut down the comptuer, unless the power cuts.

I prefer the computer to be Off when I go to sleep. Then I turn it on when I go to work. The computer is in the same room I sleep and something about it On and operating keeps me from sleeping sound.
