Thread: All those who hate anime!

Rally here please!

Don't know why but anime makes me shudder, its like the manifestation of sucking!

You might not agree >.<

Anyway thought i'd sprew a big debate here so let the anime lovers start defending their beloved art form!

It's just glorified japanese captoons.

Have you seen manga fans?
They are scary.... :D

I have seen people with OCD for anime & manga.
You feel like putting an end to their miserable existence.... ROFLMFAO :P

I have friends that are manga artists so I actually have some appreciation for when it comes to manga/anime. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan and if something is terrible I won't watch it. From time to time I'll watch an anime on TV, but you won't find any anime dvd's on my shelf.

I hate anime and I DO NOT SEE WHY PEOPLE LIKE IT.

Anime is just like any other movie or tv serie. You have good and bad ones. =) You have to pick you actually like, it has to be your genre. And if it's worked out crap you will not like it, exactly like with a movie.

I like Anime just like I like normal film. Just personally the japanese variants are a bit better worked out. May be because some times they go deeper in to the subject, don't have the kind of shame western people put in their movies, act a little bit more crazy or whatever I may like that it is that I appreciate more in Japanese movies than western. =)
Though I watch "western" movies too, I just don't like blockbusters/hollywood. Since it's so badly worked out. It just has to be some kind of thing you like. Some people don't want the things I like.

" But it's a cartoon?! That's for children... " Why should it be? It's just like actors are less childish than cartoon? I know a lot of anime that's not suitable for children. You just have to look through the animation, are look at them as actors. =)
And most of those surreal blockbusters are almost completly animated to
just in a different style than anime is. And there is also anime that is actually looking realistic. Just not all that animation is bad, just think you haven't looked at it yet, or have really followed the story.

And as a last note, I know a lot of people who first actually hated anime. Until they started really looking at it. Than they found out they actually really like it. =) That not all is like that Naruto & Bleach shit. You just have to start with something else than that. A genre that you like.
And if you like graphics? Find some that are really realistic there are some few, otherwise just stick what you already want. ^^ Nothing bad with that. =)

i don't know is dragon ball z anime but that cartoon is great!
but i'm not fan of cartoons in any form really except disney movies like tarzan, nemo, chicken little and so on...

Just for the sake of argument, it could depend on what your definition of what a cartoon is. If it is CG is it a cartoon? Bugs Bunny is a cartoon character, but what about Shrek?
