I agree with you, lots of anime is that way, but have you ever really taken the time to look into some good (by my definition anyways :001_tongue:) anime? Go check out Serial Experiments Lain, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Cowboy Bebop, or even Grave of the Fireflies. I mean you have to give some things a chance. Most anime you see on TV, in america anyways, is just plain horrible, and has just been pushed to the brink to where even the most hardcore fan starts asking: "wow this is getting old, couldnt he of picked that sword up 3 weeks ago?".

There are way to many of anime's that drag on forever, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece. Naruto full with fillers, Bleach also has those... One Piece already at 300/400+ episodes. O_o

Though there are a lot that aren't crap like that. Have to think about good ones that I can really recommend though. If you are interrested in telling watching something maybe tell what things you might like? =) [ Speaking of genre. ]

Watch some hentai maybe it's ease you into anime =P

Dave, have you tried watching Death Note? It only has 37 episodes so it definitely doesn't go on forever.

I actually honestly don't like anime at all most of the time but I really like Death Note.
