OK here is an conversation I had with a OCD manga/anime fan i᱘n school a few weeks back;

"I watched a really cool manga yesterday!"
"What, one of those japanese cartoons?"
"It isn't a cartoon...."
"I thought it was?"
"No, its shell shaded, animated, computer aided movie."

See what I mean?
A lot of manga fans will not accept that they are cartoons.

I really haven't got a problem with cartoons.

And @SunSpyda I know what you mean. There are many of those.
Or that simply like it because it Japanese or manga/anime. Even though it are just the japanese phrases for talking about comic books or animated movie. =)

My flatmates watch a rediculous amount of anime. I sat down and watched in one day was was REALLY REALLY bored. All I remember is some giant robots playing volleyball or something :)

i think anime and manga are waste for time really how you can see something which is totaly unrealistic maybe there movies that are not realistic but at least the actors are human not dargon or tailking animals

I'm being a bit unfair....

All types of people has bad stereotypes, manga fans included....

Many people could think of bad stereotypes for people that use internet forums....

I personally love Anime :laugh: sure, its a cartoon, but I enjoy it. Thats why most people dont even like it, because they believe cartoons are for kids in the first place. There are so many shows that are incredibly complex, I couldnt even begin to explain them to children. I personally dont care, at all, if you dont like anime. I know that I do, and I also know exactly what your missing out on. I feel kinda bad for you all missing out though, which is kinda funny actually :001_tongue: @ runner: who do you think is doing the voices :laugh: Personally most of you wont ever understand it, which is why ill never understand why people go onto the internet just to create a thread to tell us what they hate. Seriously though, Anime>American cartoons and most shows, wanna talk about realistic..Who the hell would find a squirrel living underwater with an astronaut outfit??

Theres no such thing as a humanoid spider but I bet you went and saw spiderman 1,2,3 didn't you. xD
