Thread: iPhone Jailbreak: Have you Jailbroken or iPhone / iPod Touch?

So... have you?

Personally, I was quite apprehensive to do the actual jailbreaking of my iPhone. However, the functionality that jailbroken apps add to the iPhone really tilt the scale in it's behalf. I've done it and haven't regretted it. How 'bout you guys?

I decided to jailbreake my ipod touch. Not a good decision. After putting in tracks (about 2000 tracks) the ipod died because the jailbreak. Will never do it again :D

I j/b my iPod Touch 32GB, worked perfectly and I have a shitload of apps loaded up.

If it breaks, 9 times out of 10, its user error.

I have jail broken mine, and It is amazing so many apps that make life easier, that the app store doesnt carry for some reason. And with the new 3.0 it will be even better.

I can't imagine having an iPhone without it being jailbroken - so much more freedom. I'm running JB 2.2FW on a first gen phone. I'm eagerly awaiting the new 3.0 this summer, as well as the new iPhone - and depending on the new features of it (which what they have announced so far, sounds great) then I think I might just buy it considering I never bought the new 3G.
