Thread: Best quality movie / TV tracker

Hi All

Im new to torrenting (started about 3 months ago) I started by using BtJunkie - which I still find good, I also use demonoid and PT for more adult torrents. I have started using a seedbox this week and have decent internet connection so size of torrents is no issue at all for me.



I am a quality freak, I only like the best quality and will delete and re-download another version of a movie as many times as it takes to get a perfect copy.

I normally aim for Blue ray but wsill settle for a GOOD dvd-rip, I have no interest whatsoever in cam's and tv rips with american writing all over the screen.

I want to know is there a good tracker that is specifically aimed at HQ stuff, Private or Public?

If anyone can advise me I would be very gratefull.

I forgot to add, I might be a noob - but I am a team player who knows how to maintain a decent ratio!

I leave everything in my seebox until I need the space regardless Of how high the ratio is and have seeded to 10.5 on torrents before I even got my seedbox!

I think you should join IPTorrent ( IPT) they have an pretty decent amount of HD tv and movie there. It's also a good way to start you off in your private tracker future.

IPT is an general tracker which means they have movies, tv shows, music, and games. After you get the hang of it, you can move on to other trackers and you will have better experience with these trackers after you use IPT.

You can move on to BTN ( TV tracker ) CHDbits ( movie tracker ), What.CD ( music tracker )

An better version of IPT is SCC ( SceneAccess)

It's best off if you started off on IPT and slowly move your way to other trackers so you have a better understanding.

That would be great, do you wish to see any Ratio or seedbox proof first?

Is there any protocol we have to follow on here for you to give me an Invite?

Thanks for the advice, Im not too fussed about compression - although it does help,

Quality is my main objective. I am anal about only watching decent quality, thats why I have ventured away from public trackers and ended up here in search of the holly grail of private trackers that hosts only the very best stuff.

you should join hdroad they got really good HD video they are about 30GB each video. Mostly movie only

they are open yesterday might of close today. It really hard to get in to Hdroad

Think i might give that one a miss, Im not too fluent in chinese

Also cant even get their homepage to load - they probably over did it with the new sign-ups yesterday and crashed the servers!

If you only want to download quality releases and nothing more I won't advise you to join a lot of trackers because you're gonna end up finding them useless. In my opinion IPT is enough for that goal. Almost all releases are uploaded there, the quality and crap ones. You just need some knowledge and experience to learn witch are the best. Begin by googling scene or read some topics here, understand the basics of how it work and wich are the scene groups. Then download some releases and if you like their standards stick with them. If you think they're not enough, specially in HD movies try to find and read some threads about the best p2p HD groups and again try their releases yourself. I can give you some of my favorites: ESiR, CtrlHD, Wiki and HDTeam.

Thanks, Defo sounds like IPT is one for me.

I have been downloading for a few months now andhave certainly learnt even on public trackers what looks good and what to avoid.

Is there anyway to find out what a certain group is releasing or has released, oir is it just a case of looking out for new torrents with their name in appearing on the tracker you have chosen to us?
