    The Mojave Experiment doesn't proofs that windows sucks in comparison with other OS'es only that the peoples first judgement purely ON THE LOOKS think that vista with another skin isn't that bad.

    Point 1, people in that experiment weren't able to actually use the pc and notice how the work really feels. They were only able to watch a 10min demonstrative video of "Mojave"
    Point 2, it isn't blindly compared with other OS. So doesn't say how good it is in comparison with other OS'es.

    Probably some other points about it too, tough this should be enough.
    Personally I don't know how Vista works I haven't experienced it yet. Don't think it's that great, and probably again a little more bloated. And you shouldn't trust what most people say without a proper test. They are all just talking on with the rest without knowing where they are talking about. =)

    But as I said earlier still prefer Linux for me. Though I don't have anything with it on at the moment, had to quickly revert this laptop to windows so I could let windows put some files on here that had been recovered from the formatted hard disk. Since Windows can't write on Ext3, probably work around for that. Just hadn't been in the mood since I just early set it up. =p

    Edit: I found a link so I won't have to type it. =)

    For those who think vista sucks The "Mojave Experiment"
    That link is pointless. Its a random site, nobody has heard of. It's all flashscript crap anyway.

    I'm have Vista Ultimate 64bit in a VM. I hate it. Even with 64bit capabilities, it is STILL slow. The UI is still not customisable. XP is an UPGRADE of Vista.

    XP is a must have VM for me.
    My Vista VM hasn't served me a single purpose, apart from using up space on my HDD.

    I've never really had the chance to use Linux, but my friend is fairly fluent with it. I'm nice and comfortable with Windows XP right now though. =)

    The best Windows OS without a doubt is XP.
    Reliable, Lots of fixes, fast (as far as windows goes) & it works with the best software packages around.
    Vista is just a clunky, unwieldly & unstable version of XP.

    The things I really hate about Windows is:

    • All the problems with viruses and have to run an anti-virus that takes up a ton of resources/memory
    • Just about all software (including the O/S) is extremely bloated
    • Most software is extremely expensive
    • Having to find a driver for anything you plug-in is a major PITA.

    • Most anti-viruses don't take up alot of space.I don't have much lag with NOD32.
    • I agree, but if you download a modded OS like I'm running (Windows XP Darklite)
    • You're on a site about torrents.I doubt software cost is a problem.
    • You CAN auto-install it (Have it search the internet) especially with Vista.

    I'd have to say Linux if you don't really play games, Windows is the all-around best for games..But you can get many viruses :(...Which is where linux wins, so if you like to do business or anything I'd say linux.But if you want to just do anything like playing games,doing other recreational shit, windows :D.

    If you use VMs, then it really dosn't matter what OS you use.

    I run BlackXP. What is 'Darklite' like?

    VMs = Virtual Machines.

    Lets you run OS's inside a window, in another OS. Here is a screenshot;
