I can't wait for the 3G unlock to come out from the dev team. I hope it's out soon.
So here's the idea....
You reflash the phone by connecting the phone to your PC & running designated software.
It flashes the phone by finding the chip that tells the phone what networks it's allowed to work on, and rewriting it so it allows all networks.
Once rewrite, the phone will accept any network SIM put into it.
Something worth knowing....
In UK all phones must now be unlocked if you buy them on pay as you go.
I bought a K800i from the carphone warhouse a year back & it was already unlocked.
I'm not sure about US.
