Thread: what is YOUR best movie ever and why?

i started this cose i wanna see ur opinion about movies, ur likes and dislikes and to see if imdb is trustworth.

my best movie ever is definetly shaowshank redemption.

it is cose it is not every prison movie, totaly difernet story and it shows up how 1 guy can change all

a lotta people seem to love that. i think it was pretty good, not one of my top ones. i loved bad boys 2, bourne supremacy (bourne 2), live free or die hard as my top choices. i guess next would be enemy of the state. funny i cant think of a fifth :)

yea i am probably only 1 that doesn't like star wars, but i like very much blade 2, other movies i like very much is probably batman dark night, omen 1, i love all movies with danzel washington and can't remember more now

Picking just one film is almost impossible, I love lots of different movies for different reasons. Three of my favourites are;

The Day The Earth Stood Still
Old Boy
The Devil's Rejects

As for imdb being trusworthy? The rating system is generally not too far out, especially for the more popular movies. It's when you get into the more specialist genres that, in my opinion, the voting gets a bit less accurate.

Shawshank was definitely a good movie, No Country For Old Men was also rather excellent.

Lords of the ring is the best for me
