    Default Hi10p playback

Anyone got an eficient way to play 10bit encodes? I tryied madVR with MPHC and it is incredbly resource hungry and won't play even 720p 8bit in my notebook without lagging (1080p will just crash it).

CoreAVC 3.0 is said to have issues with glitches and fast moving lights/one color patterns and i've heard it is less efficient than ffdshow.

i've done some research (mainly to keep me "informed")

found this little thread where they talk about Hi10p when i stumbled on a holy grail with:
Currently, you have the following options for playing such content:
    1. MPlayer2 (cross-platform, Windows builds at Index of /) You might want to use SMPlayer as GUI (Index of /)
    2. VLC (cross-platform, use the nightly builds at Index of /build/win32/last) It’s not as bad as it used to be, seriously.
    3. CCCP Beta (Index of /beta) Note that this is currently a CCCP exclusive feature, so you will not get this by simply installing the most recent ffdshow-tryouts.

I've searched animesuki and found out that i could play if i traded better picture for performance, but madVR+Haali still are worse than a regular coreAVC to play 1080p files. I think i will just wait to a more advanced and efficient decoder before getting Hi10p, since every playback is pretty much in beta rather than using VLC again.
