Not so much classic quotes but really stupid phrases people say. When you feel like crap - it would be nice for someone to say yeah it bloody sucks! but they don't they say things like

"Every cloud has a silver lining" or "There's plenty more fish in the sea" or "smile" or "turn lemons into lemonade"

and by far the most infuriating is this one........."everything happens for a reason" my question is how do they know? bah!

Yeah, more of a saying than a quote.

Told to my niece who was going through liver failure at the funeral for her mom that was killed by a drunk tow truck driver.
