I need noise to sleep - I can't sleep if it's too quiet. Also, I spin anti-clockwise, changing position every 15 mins or so (weird, I know)...
Face into the pillow, no light whatsoever.
WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT WAT
Interesting subject :). I sleep with my face in my pillow next to my husband (yes, I'm female despite my male-sounding nick and not gay ;)) and bring in at least two of our dogs every night to join us. It should be dark, quiet and cool. I prefer not to use sleeping pills, since I will feel like I've got a bad hangover the next morning, if I use sleeping pills.

I try to drink some nice tea from teavana that is meant for relaxation. Then I usually have some form of music on. Mostly something that relax's me even further.
I don't even think about it.... If I sleep it's because I can't stay awake any longer, not usually on purpose.
How do you guys sleep with your face in a pillow? Don't you feel like you can't get enough fresh air or anything? I guess I'm a bit too paranoid to sleep like that haha.
Where is the option for needing ambient noise to sleep? I need a fan on, no matter if it's cold or hot out.
