Which company is the best is a matter of opinion and experience, really. How many of us have really tried out many different brands to be able to objectively comment on this?

I have Asus, my family members have Acer and LG, they are all great in their own strength and just satisfy the needs.

I am planning to get the Lenovo S10 when it's available though.

I have repaired a lot of laptops for friends... I have used Acer, Dell, IBM, Apple (I know basic Mac OSX repairing) & Sony. My favorite is IBM.

Yeah, I see a lot of people on forums commenting on forums about things they have never used.:001_tongue:

This happens a lot with Vista... As far as I am concerned if you haven't had Vista for a period of time, you don't have the right to comment on it. :001_smile:

    Apple laptops are appalling.

That new Mac Airbook hasn't even got a DVD drive!
I don't get the appeal of Macs.

Bloated OSs, overpriced & fragile.... Why would anyone want an Apple laptop?

It looks cool. =) Works 'great' and it has no windows to screw things up. =)

Ooh and don't forget all the nice little vendor lock-ins that you hate on your windows desktop but somehow you can't seem to go without on your mac. =)

    BitMe, Thank you Cheesy!! =D
