Thread: What is your favorite browser and why?

Firefox has add-ons such as Firebug and iMacro's which IE, Safari, Opera and the rest cannot compete with. Being freeware is a plus and the fact that most malicious content (ie. viruses and spyware) are built to work with Windows and IE I do not see how IE is even an option.

Firefox - safe and easy to use. Very customizable with cool new themes.

I like Firefox, because have many add-ons extension and easy to use :D

Once a proud user of Firefox I'd say, Chrome hands down. I love the tabs on top and the amount of real estate Chrome gives to the website. There is no unnecessary clutter and lastly, it's just plain fast.

I have to agree with the comment above me, while firefox has more gadgets it can sometimes freeze up or crash and chrome is a lot simpler and more stable, at least on my current system.

My favorite browser is Firefox because it has many facilities, is more reliable than other browser and is faster too.

My favorite browser is Safari. It's just so fast! I'm not sure about Firefox, I haven't really given it a chance I guess. I know it has lots of excellent add-ons though but I'm not so sure about the speed.

I never thought I would leave Firefox but after trying chrome I was really impressed, its definitely faster, we just need the extensions to catch up now, I miss secure login . I recommend all Firefox users give it a bash, chrome will port over all your bookmarks and passwords without a hitch

Chrome, Uses my Quad Core Well ;) when folding@home isn't chewing it up.
