Thread: What is your favorite browser and why?

i use firfox

i'm using safari,FF,IE,Chrome & Opera!!!

I using Mozilla Firefox-it's best ;)

Firefox is the best;) i love the addons alot of them are usefull!

IE and firefox. But most of the time I use IE.

I use Opera more and more these days, seeing as it sticks to the web standards a lot more than Fx and it has some really handy little features that Fx doesn't have. Also Opera is more secure (It's a fact) because many of Fx's add ons make the browser less secure, whilst Opera has many of these features built in. I still use Fx, but I'm using it less and less these days....

Fot those of you who think Fx is better than Opera for security and stabability should read this. It's a bit one sided, but a lot of it is true.
Firefox Myths

It wasn't that article that made me try Opera out. It was a official list of security issues found with Fx extensions that made me try it out. Also, my friend pointed out that Opera uses less resources than Fx (He shown me in Windows Task Manager and Linuxes' 'Top' utility) which gave me more reason to try it out.

But until Opera plays nice with OpenBSD, I'm stuck with Fx. But Fx is still a very good browser so I'm not bothered. Although I do wish there was a version of Opera without the built in email, bittorrent client and IRC.

I use Lynx if I'm just reading text stuff on the net. It loads stuff *very* fast, since it's all text.

Although W3m is probably a better *nix text browser.
