Default Things you take for granted

The most obvious one? Internet. More specifically, speed of the Internet. I find myself frustrated with my laptop if the network is even slightly slower than I am used to even though I criticize other people for doing the exact same thing. Very ironic.

I have a decent job, and despite the money I make, I still get extremely stressed about financial "difficulties". I.E., not being able to afford a new game.

I afford the roof over my head, the internet/cable/telephone connection (quite good/fast, better than expected), the clothes I wear.

If I could change anything about myself, it would be to appreciate what I have given myself financially rather than stress and let greed take over.

when you have smth, you get used to it and kinda forget the importance of those things. i can name 2 things we all forget to appreciate while living our everyday lives: our health (*coughs blood) and the people we love (*yvonne and the 3 T-I ladies )

as an american, i know that i take alot of my "rights" for granted. freedom of speech, religion, assembly etc. i have no fear of my country. i abide by the law and pay my taxes, and i feel safe.
i know there are many many people in this world that dont share these same rights. hell, there are millions if not billions that dont even have clean and safe drinking water.
our grocery stores are filled to the brim with foods of all kinds.
and to close this, i think we americans have taken it for granted that we are the only big boys on the block, that are economy is infallible...we are now seeing that we are sadly mistaken!!!

People; perhaps. Usually we only realize how much we've taken them for granted when they're gone. The closest to our hearts are probably our parents.

I think that the key is to try and see how we would be without them, usually that causes a shift in our behavior towards those things/those people. :)

Pardon me? I didn't mention those things because I personally do not take my family nor my health for granted. In fact, I do my best to take care of myself (physically, emotionally, spiritually) and do my best to provide for my family members, as they have truly been there when I needed them most. That was very ignorant of you to claim.

However, to further elaborate on what I was trying to say in my original post, I personally have found that finance and how you manage your money is incredibly important to not only yourself but others you provide for as well. Other people would literally kill someone for my job, yet I do feel as though I want more sometimes. Or, better put, I feel as though I don't have enough. Ergo, my job is something I should not take for granted.

With respect, IMAGINE, please do not do that again.

    Regards.
