I have a NVIDIA, but i will still like ATI just becouse my old pc have an ATI
Hi!!! I recently built my gaming system with 2 EVGA 9800GTX+ on SLI!!! Its awsome! I get 35FPS on Crysis on Very High!! Its the best investment I have ever made!
NVIDIA ForEVER!!!!![]()
NViDiA - ? what can i say . . . thats all i've used. haven't done any heavy comparison testings. but my vote is biased, take it or leave it.
I just installed a ATI graphic card into my system.
It has screwed me around so bad.
First, the drivers wouldn't run properly, then it wouldn't let me uninstall the additional bloatware ATI panel which I didn't even want.
Nvidia's cards have been better to me, so I vote Nvidia.
I have an ati x200 here, i am on archlinux and i am able to run compiz fusion without any problems now. I use all the desktop effects WITHOUT ANY problems or glitches. Yes getting ati proprietery drivers to work on linux is a real pain in the arse but after a lot of scratching i finally got em working :D ati releases real pos drivers for linux which have lots of issues connected with them from ffx3 scrolling issues to video tearing lol

Ah....
You say that ATI cards are compatible with Arch Linux?
I'm just about to install Arch, so having an ATI card might be useful after all....
