Thread: ATI or NVIDIA?

Nvidia....

ATi for me, because for their better cards.

Nvidia for raw performance, ATI for value.

but for me i choose ATI because my very first nvidia card 8600M GT has a defect !

It`s pretty much down to personal preferences.
The 512MB 4870 is on par with the GTX260, the 1GB 4870 on par with the Core 216 GTX260 and the 4870 X2 is slightly better than a GTX280. Prices are almost the same now too.
Personally, I`d chose nVidia any day. I don`t like Ati drivers and only trust Sapphire, which limits my options. nVidia on the other hand has more trustworthy manufacturers thus making it a better choice FOR ME.

I like ATI but from experience I've also had problems with them.

Apple is using NVIDIA now, they musy be good.
