For business and work purpose, Blackberry is definitely a pick for its stability and professional well made and easy-to-access interface.
For multi-purpose use, iPhone 3G winz for its large contents of apps

iPhone definately. There is nothing more versaitle, user friendly and widely supported as the iPhone.
I am a former BB user who is a satisfied Iphone convert. Much better apps available for the Iphone and media integration is flawless. If I had to handle a heavy email volume on the device I would go with a BB for the physical keyboard, but for light emailing/texting the Iphone is fine.
Iphone rocks for the general everyday kinda person but a business person would benefit more from the blackberry imo, however I am not the latter, so I'll go with the Iphone :D
iPhone of course
I agree that the Blackberry is better for business. But I was a total Win Mobile girl because of the easy PC/handheld sync and the flash player integration. I coveted my red Samsung blackjack II until... the 3G iphone came out and I was henceforth converted. I'd say it was the best. creation. ever. if it only had flash! Anyway, as a consumer friendly recreational type phone, there's nothing better on the market than a jailbroken iphone.

Blackberry storm wins ( i know its not a bold but its touch screen) iphones suck just like anything else made by apple
Did the fact the first iphone wasnt 3g not bother anyone?
the camera is crap, cant record video without an app???? should that not be a basic function anyway
Apple tried to control all of the apps for its phone so you need to jail brake your iphone or conform to ther strick app rules
Anything made by apple that has an 'i' infront of its name is goning to be crap, i mean they couldnt get the first iphone right so had to make a 3g version, and now the ipad is going to have to be recalled because they used cheep parts
im never going to trust anything made by apple and nether should anyone else
For the consumer the iPhone is the all-out winner in price and functionality. Especially with a little jailbreak action.
Blackberry is often times the only option for business use (as the iPhone is really not that secure). I would like to see Blackberry step it up and implement a more functional UI. I wonder if they'll hop on that WinMo 7 bandwagon.
