Thread: What would you do if you couldn't pirate?

Let's say, hypothetically, the government or some organization took down all of your favorite trackers and clients, and completely halted pirating worldwide. What would do? Would you cry? Would you attempt suicide? Would you shrug it off and be a nice little consumer who gives credit to the people behind the music/movies/porn you download??

Personally, I would learn how to become a master of sneaking, and break into Best Buy, Gamestop, and my local XXX stores on the weekends to satisfy my need for getting shit for free.

Honestly, what would you do.....?

Rebel! find cracks in the system, form a secret society away from authorities and set up our own network with servers hidden underground and in abandoned warehouses and shit, and then create a civil uprising and overthrow the government lol.

And if all that didn't work I'd take out my anger by beating up emo kids. :001_tongue:

Yeaaa they cant stop us ever. But still lets imagine they did, well I guess i'd open up a very secretive underground tracker of my own ;)

What would u do if... Like this kind of topics. In that very case i think i'd read a lot more, i'd do more sport practice and to fulfill my needs in movies/games/porn i'd copy dvds from friends by the old fashioned way....

i'd make something like fight club, but instead of beating ourselves up, we'd kidnap 1 government official at a time (or whoever is responsible for taking the trackers away) and have a shot at kicking their ass instead.

but always remember: the first rule of fight club is you don't talk about fight club, so they would never find out about us ;)

Omg, i can't live with out piracy, i will ask my friends to get me things via CD/DVD/Blue-Ray/USB. :)

Or maybe just be quiet and live with it...But i will try my best to do piracy.

What if it's just starting?? Like this shit with The Pirate Bay and how some douchey organization is blocking the ISP.
