    Default What media player for mac do you prefer?

    Hi guys



    Since i got a MBP (4 months ago) i have been wondering what media player was the best for mac. I guess you all have a different opinion on which to choose since it's probably pretty different which player you like most and fits your personal needs.

    So i would like you to:

    1. Tell me your favorite media player for mac
    2. Reason why you think it's the best
    3. If you SHOULD choose an alternative, what would it be?

    Here is a little list of some i heard about:

    I certainly hope this will come in handy for other mac users here at TI .

    Definitely VLC Player. It's the best player out there, can play without downloading unnecessary codecs, and VLC has plenty of options. Admittedly I've never tried the others though other than Quicktime with Perian, and I absolutely hate QT. My mp4s even play better on VLC, despite me being on QT Professional. VLC is way user-friendly compared to the rest, especially if you came from a Windows platform.

    I've been a MAC user for about three years now, VLC has always been my first choice player even when I was still on Windows, and it still is. Never looked back ever since!

    I hope to save you the hassle of trying out the rest, just get VLC and you should have no worries at all. :D
