I'm taking a psychological course and have to make a report about Napoléon Bonaparte.
I want to know what do you know about Napoléon Bonaparte and what's his personality like?
Anything would help.
And you may tell me where are you from.

arrogant cocky french leader ..
I'm from the U.S.A. great military leader did alot for his country become power hungry just had an extraordinarily unreal life was a self made man perhaps the most successful in history. Came from a small village in Sicily. That gave rise to emperors (his relatives). First become interested because of a tv miniseries with Armand Asante that showed him with all his faults it was really good, and had a great soundtrack by Bill Conte the man who did Rocky. Hope this helps.
I believe the history channel or national geographic dubbed him with the title "Anti-Christ". Their was a documentary about how Nostradamus predicted the arrival of 3 Anti-Christs throughout the centuries. One being Bonaparte, the second being Hitler and the 3rd who is currently marked as unknown, but is apparently living among us. Search google if you want to know more about it.
Lovin' T-I :)
little man......with a HUGE EGO.....
Can't decide what to think of him...on the one hand, he was a genius that would simultaneously dictate several letters, not to mention lead several of the greatest miliary campaigns of all time. On the other hand, he does have the reputation of being an egotistical maniac (but then again, what military dictator doesn't). In the end, I guess I kind of write him off as a genius with SPS (small penis syndrome) that fought his way up to the top, achieved greatness, gambled everything and lost it all.
he was from corsica, not sicily.
napoleon
- was one of the greatest military leaders of all time
- introduced the metric system to europe
- expanded the rights of minorities such as jews and protestants (in catholic lands)
- invented the "napoleonic code", a lawbook that influenced the whole world
- he laid the foundation for a unified germany
- took 100 scientists and artists on the campaign to egypt. this was the start of egyptology
but of course he was also
- a dictator
- an ego maniac
- somebody who wouldnt consider the suffering of the millions before going to war
in my personal opinion he was good for europe, and without him the things that were won in the french revolution could have been lost all together
