Hows this for a comparison?
My PS3 gets used every day (either to watch bluray movies or play a PS3 game).
In contrast, my flatmate's XBOX360 is packed up under his bed, and has not been used in months! :D
PS# is much better than XBOX360 in ters of config
XBOX360 all the way... It is what I have right now and I would never switch to the brick
xbox 360 - more variety of games, downloadable movies, and xboxlive. want to get a PS3 for a cheap blueray player

wii... at least that was what I was able to convince my wife to buy...
Although I don't own ANY console as I'm not a console gamer, I would pick the PS3 out of the 2 choices as it's more powerful specs-wise.
