Thread: Well I'm having a problem with my ratio cause of ip address

This is a guess, so im gonna need someone to confirm it, well iv been downloading stuff for a month now and i only have demonoid and my ratio hasn't moved once in 3 in a half weeks or so, and everyone knows for people to trust you with invitations and accounts your gonna need ratio proofs and seeing as demonoid wont update for me its driving me crazy cause I cant get any better trackers. And I have been thinking read around saw the demonoid FAQ and figured whoa maybe because I have a dynamic IP address, so since my ip changes is that why demonoid is not updating correctly and do all private trackers keep track of your ratio based on your IP adress? If anyone can respond with a helpful answer it will be most appreciated since this is driving me crazy.

This has happened to me on demonoid several times when i first started using it it didnt keep track of my ratio then a month later it displayed everything then there was another 2 week period where it didnt change then i saw it jump 20+GB it'll catch up eventually its nothing to worry about its just a little unpredictable

Most of the folks who use the interwebs have a dynamic IP so that isnt the issue. I really couldnt tell you what, exactly, the issue is though. Could just be that demonoid is failing to update. Could be that there is an issue with your router. Could be that your ISP is jacking with things at some point along the way.

I do know though, that it isnt because you have a dynamic IP :)

Demonoid dont track stats now, if it updates it is a bonus.
