Xigmatek HDT-S1283 CPU heatsink
CPU idle w/o fan: 47-50
CPU idle with fan: 28-32
*tested in January with home temperature around 20 degrees celsius
-freeware software: speedfan Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer
-CPU temp is likely "Temp1"
-software claims fanspeed adjustments, however doesn't work with mine
*note, my rig has open case and only fan running is PSU (Power Supply Unit)

41C Stable under load with Prime95.
Core2Duo E4500 2.2g OC'd to 2.93g aircooled with Zalman 9700.
35C with Zalman CNPS9500A on lowest rpm and stock gpu fan on 25% speed. Pretty decent for silent setup.

abt 42c with c2d cpu - was told amd runs mighty hot though
