If you won 1 million $ and spent it on cars in this economic climate you're throwing your money away, I'd buy a BMW M3 and stop there then invest 1/2 in a couple houses on the cheap from desperate sellers or bank auctions, near prime renting areas such as universities. Then I'd invest the rest in a house of my own somewhere near a fresh water supply and into some renewable energy sources like solar panels and a wind turbine as a fall back in case stuff get's really fucked anytime soon.
