    Got this from an email and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

    Correct Time to Drink Water....Very Important
    From A Cardiac Specialist!

    Drinking water at certain time maximizes it's effectiveness on the body:

    2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs

    1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion



    1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure

    1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

    But what is also important is to make sure you drink more than 8 cups of water per day.

    This can help minimize risk of certain diseases like kidney stones, etc.

    And if you do not like drinking water by itself, add a little bit of lemon for taste.

    I know people who drink more Diet Coke than water a day. Nevertheless interesting time schedule tip.

    Some interesting things I've learned about this topic in the past are, that by the time a person feels thirsty, his or her body has lost over 1 percent of its total water amount.

    While the daily recommended amount of water as you've said correctly is eight cups per day, not all of this water must be consumed in the liquid form. Nearly every food or drink item provides some water to the body.

    Aside from that, the weight a person loses directly after intense physical activity is weight from water, not fat.

    True fruits and vegetables also have water in them but other drinks as soda aren't as healthy even though it might provide you with some water benefits.

    Also if you take a bath or shower everyday you should be getting more water inside through osmosis.

    I have a friend who hasn't had a glass of water in 2 years! WTF!? If I go just 1 day without water I get massive headaches, energy loss, hiccups... well maybe not hiccups.

    Thats crazy, I dont even think thats possible. Im trying to move off of carbonated drinks completely and on to 100% water. Not going so well :P

    On our national tv stations there is an ad that says we should drink at least 2 Liters of liquids daily ;)

    as I do not drink alcohol or soda I drink a lot of water daily either that or cranberry apple juice is all I drink , sometimes and very rarely cranberry grape

    On a daily basis I only drink coffee and water, so I drink a ton of water, though I don't worry about scheduling it. If I am thirsty I have a glass of water, and probably get through about 2 litres during a day.

    Of course if I am out on the razzle I drink my own weight in beer, and that seems to do the trick.
