Thread: Negative feedback

I just noticed somebody I've invited account has been pruned. They asked me for an invite, but they haven't downloaded or uploaded any traffic in 30 days so the account is shutdown. Actually they never even used the account.



What do I do? I'm going to PM the user here on T-I to ask for an explanation.

Never done it yet... Has anybody else handed out negative feedback here yet?

I have not, but I agree that PM'ing the user as a first step is a good idea.

hey m8, i think the user you invited owes you a explanation even without you asking for it? i call it common courtesy !!!! anyway i suppose it is just one of those things, you win some and you lose some! it might make you look bad in front of the tracker but then i think they should be a little understanding aswell as there is only so much you can do. you can take a horse to the water but____ ! good luck canadianguy

i've given negative feedback and i encourage you to do the same. you basically just wasted an invite that someone else might have needed.


by the way, i just can't convince myself to give out positive feedback for all the good users i've invited because you never know when they finally get caught with cheating. and then it would be weird to have given a thumbs-up when the dude clearly doesn't deserve it.

the user definitely deserves a negative igiver to alert other inviter that he is a bad invitee so they do not end up losing an invite in vain also

I'm going to give the user a day or two to respond first, just in case. I have a second invite I've given away, Jan 20th and the user hasn't logged in since Jan 20th! That one feels like I should give another negative feedback! That account could get pruned at anytime.

I mean, if you give away an invite, isn't it understood that the user should use it? I see that some people post as a requirement of the giveaway that you must use the your account, but shouldn't this be generally understood? Don't ask for it if you won't use it!

I think you're right to wait a day or two as there might be a good explanation, if not though I believe they have wasted an invite and this is bad for the community so I think a negative feedback would be justified.

and when someone got banned due low ratio? can we give them negative feedback?
