Wargaming.net Development Team is glad to announce today the highly-anticipated start of the open beta phase for World of Tanks.
After months of closed beta testing the company is ready to invite all players to sign up for the beta at:
New User Registration :: World of Tanks: "World of Tanks" - for the North American server
New User Registration :: World of Tanks: "World of Tanks" - for the European server

Fans of MMO, action and strategy games, history enthusiasts and all those seeking for adrenaline pumping and fast-paced gameplay, can now download the client and engage into massive tank clashes with a wide variety of legendary WWII-era military hardware available in the game. In cooperation with their friends, players will be able to join the fight for global tank domination in fierce and uncompromising Clan Wars.

We are glad to announce the launch of enrollment for World of Tanks International championship!

The registration has just begun and will close March 14.
Each server will hold a tournament confrontation in three divisions:

6/60-vehicles do not exceed tier 6 and total number of tier points per team does not exceed 60;*
8/90-vehicles do not exceed tier 8 and total number of tier points per team
does not exceed 90;*
10/140-no restrictions on vehicles and total number of tier points per team.*

Team’s roster should consist of 14 players and may have up to 6 reserves. One player can be on 1 team and in 1 division only!
Finalists from each division will advance into Grand Finals which will take place in early May in Moscow. All in all 3 teams best teams from EU/US server will have any opportunity to defend honor of their server! All travel, transport and living expenses (except visa and insurance) will be covered by championship organizers.
Grand Finalists in each division, apart from the best of the best title, will be awarded with special prizes. 1st place – powerful gaming HP laptops, 2nd place - 10-inch Archos tablets, and 3rd place – Asus netbooks.

It's a new type of armor, most advanced ever. Aka reinforced air plate. Try penetrating it and the shot goes clean thru. Randomly spotted on various tanks, but never confirmed until this video. Crew is instructed to duck fast, either way there's 99 virgins in garage for them. Premium garage owners even get female ones.
