    Default Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 is a survival horror third-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to Dead Space. Unlike its predecessor, Dead Space 2 has a multiplayer mode. A Collector's Edition is available for all three platforms, but the PlayStation 3 version will include Dead Space: Extraction as a PlayStation Move compatible title.

Discuss game here. I haven't played it yet, but I'm planning. Who played it? How is the first impressions?

Yes, the game is, indeed, very good. And it's been ages since a decent PC release.

Will GTX 460 1 GB be enough for the game? I know about recommended system requirments but they are not very clear about hat you need for a comfort game play with maxed settings.

I'm almost done with the game. I've been waiting 2 years+ for it and it's totally worth the wait.

Stuck somewhere in game? send me a message and I'll help

A new breed, A new generation. D-generation X, you can not stop him, slow him down, or shield yourself from his gaze. He is here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and we're all out of gum. He is DX, he is Exalted . . .

I got it when it became available. I turned off all the lights in my house, turned on my sound enhancers for my headset, and started playing. This game will scare you, I can guarantee that.

I must agree with all the above posting.

Amazing. Better than the first. Scary as shit.

Best way to play is the following:
1080p 21 to 27 inch monitor 18 inches in front of you.
    Mouse and keyboard.
    2:00 AM. All Lights off.
    5.1 Surround sound. Very loud.
Case of Beer. Finish 2 within 1 hour before starting the game.
    Fresh pair of underwear.

I am currently on chapter 7, its so fucking good I can't stay away!

3:00 AM (apparent witching hour :P) All lights off.
my ms-1i headphones :] Volume? Maximum.
A sack of green. A couple bong rips before starting the game.
    Some munchies.

It’s my first time with this type of game and I quite like it. My only complaint is there’s a 3rd person view in which I still don’t feel too comfortable. My friend told me that survival horror games are usually third person because first person would ruin the experience. Maybe he is right… well, I think sooner or later I’ll get used to it:) Oh, yes the music is awesome!
