Thread: Football Manager 2011

Saying fifa is better than Football Manager is like saying Apples are better than half pint glasses. They're totally different games really.

That said, I've been absolutely loving Football Manager 2011. I had 2010 and enjoyed it, but this new one is just great. I think it's going to be my most play FM game since CM01-02, which was played to death.
My current game (my first on FM11 actually) I started out running a number of leagues, but without a job, I soon got hired for newly promoted Lierse in the top flight of Belgian football. The first season the board just asked for me to enjoy my time in the league, and get ready for relegation and the next season. After a great start I took the side to 7th in the table (from 16).
Season two though, things have been going well. We finished the main league in 3rd, and went into the 6 team 'Championship Group' and am currently still sitting 3rd, 5 points off first with 6 games left to play. I am hoping for qualification to the Europa League, but a top two finish would mean Champions League football, all be it the qualifying round.

So yeah. Love FM :D

I prefer Football Manager but transfer system is not working.You can't even give players away.Hopefully it will be fixed in the next patch around xmas.
