    Hi! =)

E73 is GPU problem.. Chip resolder is needed, i guess.

Try something like that, but only if there is no better idea - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jF-Sz49kws&feature=related]YouTube - Fixed Error Code E73 Light Of DooM aaand my 360 is REBORN ^^[/ame]

There is no permanent fix for RROD/error 73. The best you can do is reballing with lead solder, and even that is not a permanent fix. The issue is that the PCB is cheap as hell, so it bends under the heat and pressure of the x-clamps and heatsinks. They used terrible lead-free solder which cracks under high heat and the mobo bending. Oh yeah, and the heatsink sucks. All of these issues makes the next one worse, there is no permanent fix. This is what happens when a software company attempts to rush out a hardware product.

Personally, I plan to save up for an Xbox 360 Slim (black) and buy it once ixtreme lt+ comes out. This console features a smaller cpu chip, which equals less heat. It is much quieter and comes with HDMI/Wifi, unlike my launch console.

You can replace the x-clamp with screws. I replaced the x clamps and took the mobo out of the metal cage, just letting it sit in the plastic shell. Its really ghetto but it works and works well.
