    Default Civilization V

OK guys, a newcomer in the Civ series is about to be released in the next few weeks. I can't wait for it, although I'm a little bit concerned with the upcoming changes. No more "stacks of death", one unit per square. And yes, no more squares, its all hexagons now.
They announced it will be mod friendly, I'm sure fans will adjust any imbalances.

    Any Civ fans here?

I'm also wondering what it will look like. Hope it's gonna maintain its originality.
    Cant wait for the release!

I've played all of them since Civ 1.

Basically, all of them since Civ 2 are not so much different from one another. Yes, they have added culture and civics, but nothing so dramatic as is expected in Civ 5. You will be able to have only one unit per hex...I'm not so fond of it cause i like epic battles, but that will surely mean more tactics.

I have played all of the civ games since civ 1.. ahh the memories...

I am so excited to play this game! I honestly haven't read up on the changes as i just want to play it as is and learn it as a new game again.

I actually still am playing civ 4 right now a few hours a week. so fun :)

Even if they release total crap, i'm sure all those civfanatics out there will make it great with mods. I didn't like Colonization 2 much, but those guys made a modpack with like 20-30 mods and made it look fabulous.

So we have 18 more days till the official release. Demo was supposed to be out earlier than the game, but they've postponed it so it will be out the same day as the game.

I'm super excited about this new game. I've been playing the series for quite awhile and, while it's different than the rest, I absolutely love Civilization Revolution. Lots of good games dropping this month, actually...

Hahaha same here If that doesnt do it, then diablo 3 in the next year will surely finish me off. Maybe i should take a year off or something. I've seen some people totally neglect college because of WoW, now I realise I'm not immune.
