yes i agree, as soon as i get the software i will let everyone know where it can be found


for free that is. i think a hacker charging for this is unethical, isn't their reward beating the system?
maybe i'm wrong but if i was a hacker everyone would be getting it for free from one torrent site or another


the backup loader for ps3 can be found on bcg and bitgamer still need to figure out the dongle tho, half way there

Some updates concerning PS JailBreak… The team sporting the we-did-it-first trophy in the game of PS3 hacks sent word to psx-scene stating that they’re soon releasing a new Backup Manager, version 1.1, which will pack new features & tweaks. Cool, considering PS JailBreak hasn’t even shipped yet. I wonder if the [detectable] game ID (LAUN-12345) has changed.
Furthermore, Team PS JailBreak mentions the reason behind their launch delay was to finish the retail packaging and finalize some software bits.
And lastly, with Sony’s recent Australian injunction, Team PS JailBreak has decided to financially aid OzModChips and other Aussie distributors by giving [some of] their money back in the form of a “sizable donation.” Good luck in court.

who wouldve thought that something that looks as simple as a thumbrive would've done all this.

I'm so glad to see the X3's Jailbreak price compared to the PS Jailbreak, not only that but that article on LogicSunrise confirming the legitmiacy of it. I'm going to give all these stuff about one more month before I really hop on board - it will give them time for more inexpensive clones to come out, as well as work out the kinks with the current software it runs.

Could be cool if we all just could burn some sort of image onto our usb dungle and then install the jailbreak that way.
