didnt realky play arcades untill i went to mexico... i played the king of fighters 98 its the best and currently looking for it but dont know what system it was made for... well before all that it was nintendo (i can pass mario bros in 10 to 15 min. lol) and the big game boy...
I loved the arcades... when I was young, I would save up all my quarters solely for the arcades. I'm sure I could've just gotten change at the arcade, but there was something about counting all those quarters you saved that seemed irreplaceable.
Like blasto43, I enjoyed the TMNT arcade game. But the best game I remember from the arcades was the second Dungeons and Dragons game, Shadow Over Mystara. Since that disappeared, I went to fighters, shumps and even pinball.
It's a shame nowadays that arcades in many places are in decline. I still go to the arcades from time to time just to relive the nostalgia.

spent lots of money a t the arcade when i was a kid played evething from super pacman to tron, lot of pinball machines Virta fighter karate champ track and field

Not too much becuase 20 years ago if you were good you could play for hours for 20 cents, I was an expert on a wrestling game and would go 35-40 mathces before loosing so could play for 3-4 hours for 20cents
I don't have an arcade where I live
No where near as much as i wanted to. We had a street fighter 2 down the road and I wasn't allowed to play it.
i spent about a MONTH r playing just pinball
