i bet for 4 eggs :)) i don;t know if is right but here's the way i think it , the farmer must remain with a half egg of his last sell , so only with 1 egg he can do that and then he remains with half egg so the last buyer takes that half egg too so he remains with nothing . So 4 eggs / 2 = 2eggs , 2 eggs /2 = 1egg , 1egg /2 = 0.5 eggs and the last buyers takes that half egg too. Dunno if did i make myself clear but at least I try :))
