Okay, hard one here:



An evil sorcerer took 3 woman from their homes and turned them into rose bushes that looked exactly alike. He put them in his garden. One of the woman begged to see hers husband and children. The sorcerer agreed. At night, he brought the woman to her house. In the morning he came and took her home. On the same day, the husband decided to go rescue her. So he snuck into the sorcere's garden. He looked and looked at the 3 identical rose bushes trying to figure out which could be his wife. Suddenly, he knew the answer and he took his wife home. How did he know which rose bush was his wife?

She was newer than others or got no dust or got no waterflakes as she was made in morning not night?

@tzp: Good one..Any kind of flooring would fit the question. Also, what do you think about grass?? I think it fits the question too! Although easy it may seem, this one surely is thought provoking! Thanks so much for sharing

@Fractal:Welcome back! A very interesting & thought provoking riddle indeed! I second ac8409 in his answer. At first I thought that if the sorcerer had planted the roses in his garden, the one that was most recently planted would have been the man's wife. But then what if they were kept in mobile pots? Then this one wouldn't fit... The other feasible explanation would be that since the sorcerer brought the rosebush to her home at night and returned her to the garden in the morning, it must have been the only plant without dewdrops, which only occur in the mornings.
But what if she had kept it near the window? It would still have dew drops then! But analyzing it this far would be a overkill:laugh:

@kokofan: I love the way you're thinking and although "I always works in light", and there are shadows involved, "I'm" much more than a shadow and, unlike shadows, I "can sometimes leave an awful bite!":laugh:
