Here's a nice one:
My watch was correct at noon, after which it started to lose 17 minutes per hour until six hours ago it stopped completely. It now shows the time as 2.52 pm. What time is it now?

Yep, well done. 10pm is the correct answer. But ... I think you should stick to the rules of this game though. There's no way you could have gotten it that fast, except by using google...
So, I suggest we do it a bit differently. Before you post a riddle in this thread, just do a quick check if the answer isn't up for grabs on the internet. It'll keep this game interesting and fair. I'll do the check myself from now on. You can also change the wording, so the simple copy/paste trick won't work. I took my riddle from an IQ test I did a few weeks ago, but I noticed the answer is really easy to find by just copy/pasting the riddle in google. Just a shame there's always people who have to ruin the game.

Look, i didn't use google. I just did the math on paper.
If every hour the clock lose 17 mins then 1 hour = 43 minutes
Then add 43minutes to 10pm
Added 43 4 times to get 2.52 pm > so 4 hours aka real time 4pm
Then add the 6 hours and voila you get 10pm
That's just my thinking , i use to think a little "outside of the box"
And please dont accuse me of something like that
Got the theread on email notification so i started to resolve the riddle after 1min since you posted it

Look, I posted my riddle at 6:35pm, and your answer came at 6:36pm! Can you check the thread, read the post, think it over, do the math, quote the post, type the answer, all that, in only one minute? Whatever you say, man.

Alright guys no need to argue or accuse each other, calm down this is only a riddle thread created for fun and we are a community after all. I don't think that soretyo cheated as he did show his working out, and even if he did its no big deal. Lets not turn this into a flame thread and just keep on playing the game, some people think quicker than others, or may have heard a similar question, regardless my point is don't accuse or flame each other, those who use google are only cheating themselves and achieve nothing as anyone could simply use google, and it takes the fun out of the game for them. Though please no one cheat.

Now considering no-one posted i shall.
