    Hi InsanePinoyBoy

Thanks for the information, i don't have a PS3 so i can't so this but my brother has one and i may tell him to do this with his one. Questions though:

    1. Does this work on vista and win 7?
    2. The controller will also continue to work for the ps3, right?

@shadowbuild: Thanks for the info but yeah im not that keen on buying from online, unless it is from the company or manufacture themselves, or extremely trustworthy.

    Default Ps3

Its real simple mate. Really. It will continue to work on ps3 and on pc. All it does is install the drivers on the pc for your ps3 controller to work. Took me about 5 min to set up. These will be corded though, with the usb charge wire that came with the ps3. It will be wireless or corded to play on the ps3. I switch them all the time. It works on vista which platform I am currently on. I believe it works for Win 7 also. If you need help pm me. I linked the article to by the way. Then, you just do like a regular controller, and set the buttons. I play street fighter on pc, even though the speeds doesn't seem as fast, even though i meet the required min requirements. Good Day!

Alternately you could get the xBox 360 controller that is designed for PC's. Under $50 (normally $40 I believe unless you want wireless) and definitely guaranteed to work with Windows (and most of the new games have layouts for it already).

I can attest to this, I use my xbox 360 controller for most of my pc games, and its the wireless one and the rumble works too. And any games that don't have presets for the 360 controller can have an .ini made for it with a program called x360ce and you put the .ini and .dll in the directory with the game launcher and it makes a presetting for the controller to work with all of its features. I think I paid about $50 US for mine, but again it was the wireless one with the usb receiver.

I'd say if u didn't like mentioned above or would like to go cheap you can get Logitech Precision gamepad, it's possible to get it under 10$ but it's still a good controller if you don't need analogue joysticks. I have it, and because i play mostly consoles older than ps2 it suit my needs perfectly well.

I bought a wired Xbox 360 controller for my PC and I love it. Some people complain about the d-pad (and with valid reason) but I always use the analog on emulators anyway. I've always found the 360 controller formfactor the best of the current gen consoles. Nice ergonomics and fits nicely in my hands.
