Thread: Far Cry 2

Finally this game is out ..

I've been waited for it for a long time , really great game ..

really great game :D

I played FC1 in preparation for the release of the second game, but I still haven't finished the first. I'm loving it and am going to jump right in to the second when I'm done.

been playing this game for the past few days have to say i like it, but its defintely not one of the best games i've played.

Personal review will give it 7/10.

SPOILER ALERT
There are many problems with the game, which i have read over the internet, all lead to the conclusion that this game was made for the '360'.

some annoyances in the game includes
-driving too much around africa with a map in your hand
-too many patrols and patrol checkpoints, when you go pass them they will start shooting at you
- too many shots to kill a person, if you do kill a person, and you're really far away (i.e a long range kill), the person gets up again 0.o wtf

however, there are some good points about the game
- i like how the gun jams depending on the condition of the guns that you pick up
- weapons store, upgrades, sidemissions,unlocks
- flamethrower~!!

I should play more of the game before coming up with the above conclusions, so please note these are just my observations from playing the game for a few hours..

It is a good game but not an amazing one .

I am having a lot of fun with this game right now. The driving isnt too bad but can get bothersome. The environment is one of my favorite things about the game. Not the best ever but a good game at the very least.

Graphics are awesome as expected. Haven't played it much, but I intend to. So is the 3.6Gb the full version or what?

Great game, but it's not as good as expected. Too much driving and guard posts really ruin the gameplay. Not all that much but it gets annoying. Also, the ending was kinda weird. Not what I expected.

Great gameplay when you want it to be good though, and the weapon jamming is a great feature.

EDIT: Yes, the 3.6GB version is the full game.

8/10 from me.

I know a lot of people don't like it but I do. The storyline and exploring Africa I enjoy.
