lol...I still remember seeing this my N64 magazine. and then Powerplay.
Given up I read this year its 'nearly' done sheesh.
I'll stay with my old Duke Nukem 3D! LOL
Wonder if it will actually come out next year... or they're just teasing and after one screenshot and teaser trailer we'll be waiting another 10 years for next screenshot. :P
This topic could've very well been started in 1998, but hey, bring it on. I want to see it released too. Still.

Yeah, it'll happen. Eventually. The problem is it's gone through a number of tech upgrade, several engines. It's nothing like what it was supposed be probably. Now it's going to be a random shooter with duke nukem in it.

The actual game was pretty much done, I know its floating on some nerds hardrive somewhere.
If the legal battle between 3D realms and Take Two doesn't get settled then it will be at least until 2012-2013 before game development can proceed. I am hoping that they settle or Take Two wins and acquire the right to develop and publish Duke Nukem games.
