Thread: PES 2010 or FIFA 2010??

Hey!



So I'm a big pro fan, and I've been playing pretty much since it came out. However, I've heard that the new FIFA is really good. Is it worth downloading and trying?

If you're already a PES fan then you will probably hate Fifa 10. Fifa 10's gameplay is good... if you suck at PES. In Fifa everyone even the backs can just run up and juke everyone anywhere, whereas in PES only individuals with the actual skills can do so.

One thing I dislike about PES master league is how transfers happen. The negotiations kinda suck, and I really believe this is where Fifa beats PES. Other than that, PES owns Fifa

PES is the real deal and will remain so for at least a couple iterations. Whereas Fifa is more like arcade McSoccer.

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna stick to PES for now and forever. Another question, does anyone get lag in PES 2010 usually after second half (in PC)? I tried installing the patch 1.02 and didnt seems to do much... any suggestions?

Well there are pros and cons for both. One of which is already mentioned - PES gameplay system is more refined when compared to FIFA.

However, FIFA has licenses with all the different football leagues around the world so they are authorized to use their trademarks whereas PES only has a select few licenses. For example, you would find Thierry Henry's name listed as Theerie Hanry who plays for Barcelonia FC in PES whereas in FIFA the legit names will be used.

Make your pick as to what's more important to you in this way.

Fifa is cool, but PES is the BEST...
