Through the years there have been some nicely designed game controllers and also, some controllers that felt so smooth to use you mistaken it for your hand sometimes. Like with all things however, you have to take the good with the bad, there have also been some pretty poorly designed game controllers that you look at and you think to yourself, " Damn, you look like I need another beer " .

Im curious to hear some of the horror stories you guys might have or just hear your opinions on what you think some of the ugliest game controllers ever made are and why.

The original Xbox controller was horrible. It gave me aches on my hand after 20mins of playing. You had to streach you thumbs really far out to reach the 'Start' button'.

The Xbox S controller was pretty good though.

The best contoller in my opinion is the 360. I prefer it to the PS3's controller & I am too lazy to bother with the Wii remote.... :P

The N64 had a lovely contoller.

The Dreamcast's contoller was nasty & chunky.

For shooter games, a mouse for using the gun & a joystick for moving the character is the best I have found.

Yeah, it's hard to see why MS would spend so much money on designers to make that pile of ****.

    Huh?

I thought the N64 contoller was genius, I could play that for hours without any pains in my hand. I gotta disagree with you on that one.

Wow, really? I couldn't play for more than 30 minutes without my hands hurting.
But then again, my hands are small, so I dunno

Different controllers for different hands I suppose :) ... more padding on it would of been nice though.

I prefer the updated Xbox S controller to the PS2's controller. I also prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 controller. I love the analogue stick placement on the 360 pad....
