Thread: ps3 or 360

I really don't like PS3, 360 or any console... PC is really much better for graphic performance. This is not a troll ;)

Yeah I agree with mateo46, and PC is upgradeable, so when it gets crap, you can put in a new graphics card.. or whatever.

Buy a XBOX 360 if u cant upgrade ur pC m8

I have PS2, but I would like to have ps3 :)

I've a PS3 and its really nice to play games on it. I use my laptop for studying and surfing the internet only.

I think xbox because it has a lot more games to choose from.

I own both consoles. Like many have stated previously, I think the choice is very subjective. I play my Xbox 360 the most by far. I play mainly first-person shooters, like Halo 3 and CoD 4. Halo is an Xbox exclusive title and I bought CoD 4 for the Xbox because many of my friends already had it for Xbox. In addition, I have a Netflix subscription. Netflix and Microsoft (i.e., Xbox) have a deal whereby Netflix movies can be streamed through the Xbox. Movies can be streamed through the PS3 too, but additional 3rd party software must be purchased to do so.

I use PS3 mainly to play Blurays. There just aren't many game titles that interest me. Most titles that I like for PS3 are available for the Xbox and the superiority of XBL over PSN usually counsels for the purchase of the Xbox version.

I think you should buy an Xbox, it is cheaper than the PS3 and also you the graphics may be good for the PS3, but get an HD cable for Xbox (I think it's included) and the graphics are basically the same. To me you waste less money and you get a lot of value back. There's also a lot of very good games for the Xbox, a lot of them have good replay value and will keep your son entertained for awhile, at least over 1 or 2 years, but that's just the minimum.
