That article is old as hell, no way hacking PS3 is possible on new firmware.

ISO Loading cannot be done with HDD because of the 4GiB -1byte file size limit under the FAT32 file system, and currently 2GiB under Linux without LFS. NTFS is not supported with PS3, which would support a file size of 2TB.

If they can make the isos work on the HD it would be nice, but i guess it still being to big for it.

Like everyone else I also bought an Xbox360 cause it's easily hackable as is the Wii. I do have a PS3 but I hard play games on it anymore. Seems like I've fallen back to PC to play all my games since it still easily out performs all consoles and none of the burning discs stuff.
I'd love to see Ps3 modded, homebrew would open new doors. But I'm not sure were anywhere near that.

I've had a PS3 since launch... eagerly awaiting the day it will be hacked... will that day come? no one really knows...
I have a "hacked" PSP 2000 (with bad v3 bad mobo) its tethered though but I can play my downloaded GTA on my memory stick now so im happy.
Why is 40 Gb a game so much
i mean i can download with 1.5 mb/s on my connection. If i would let it download a 40 GB game through the night in the morning the game would be finished. better than spending 60 $ on every game
