You can play 5on5 CS(also other games like css, cod).You need a steam account, QuakeNet auth and you should entry them into your profile.Then connect IRC, join the channel of your country (for example:cs.gather.de).Type "/msg CS-Gather-DE auth" and you will be authed.When a game started, topic will change to "A game started bla bla" and you can use "!add" command to join the game.When it reached ten player, ip and password will come to you.So that's it.Sorry for my bad English.I would like to explain all these more understandable but...Anyway you can learn these thing easily.If you decided to register, please use this link: Register - www.gather-network.eu
