Thread: 360 flashing

Anybody know of a good easy to follow guide for flashing a 360 with an Hitachi drive? Or of a tracker that has such guides?

I don't recommend it if you play on Xbox Live.

u can go to Xbox 360 ISO - Index very good forum for xbox 360 downloads tutos and more much am sure u will find what u need there

i second to that,i think xbox is catching up on those who have both and suspending users from xbox live

Ya, i'm aware of the LIVE banning of flashed 360's. I find myself using LIVE less and less these days. If i missed it, i think the 360's are cheap enough now where i could always get another one if that was the case.

Have the parts i need to flash the 360 on order. :)

The best way of making a 360 play pirated games is to flash the DVD drive's FW.

First you must set the 360's DVD drive to mode B.
Then you wire the drive up to a SATA socket on your PC.
Then you rewrite the firmware on the drive.
Then you get a Kreon DVD drive for your PC.
Then get the FW for the Kreon drive, so it can burn 360 games.
Then you get a 1:1 360 image.
Then you check the disks CRC.
Then you burn the disk.

Then it should work. :)

Just to say, most new DVD drive flashes can't be detected over Live anyway.

Chips are far more likely to be caught than flashes.

Liteon drives can be done, but they require a LOT of work.
Most other drives like the Hitachis will work no problem.

Type in the following key words in Google to find the guide you need:

"mod xbox360 hitachi textbook"

Then you check the disks CRC.
Then you burn the disk.
