Thread: Who else plays games on a mac? Got any recommendations?

I will begin with what machines I have available to me to play on.

Macbook pro late 2008 model
and
A very bad windows pc with about 700-ishmb ram with on board graphics card.

So naturally I would like to play on my laptop, so far I've played:

Starcraft
Diablo
some C&C's
Sim City 4




or played at one time and really enjoyed it.What are some games that you mac users out there that currently played. I'm looking for a fresh game to play, I'm up for any style of game. Also any old school games that are exclusively pc, I'm game.

Considering you have tried two games by Blizzard, why not step into the Warcraft universe? There's the popular pay-to-play MMO, World of Warcraft, or the RTS Warcraft 3 that you could try out. WoW is already in it's third expansion, so there's a lot of catch up to do. On the other hand, Warcraft 3, you can play out of the box. Also, if you aren't a fan of the official RTS battle.net gameplay, there are many custom games to play, especially Defense of the Ancients.

Yea I've played wow for a good while on my windows computer. It was fun and all but end game is more like a job then a game, so I quit.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I actually quit a while back as well.

Don't they have call of duty for mac now? I think you should give that a try.
